Chandigarh, March 28
The villages in the UT have remained neglected despite Congress candidate Pawan Bansal's 15-year tenure as Chandigarh MP, said AAP candidate Gulkirat Kaur Panag during her door-to-door campaign in Vikas Nagar here today.
She added that the development of villages and colonies in terms of healthcare, education and sanitation would be on top of her priority list.
Later, she held a corner meeting with villagers and the sarpanch of Kaimbwala village to discuss their grievances and shortcomings in the village.
The AAP candidate said Bansal had a lot to explain for the appalling state of affairs in the villages that have subsisted during his 15-year tenure.
